X Factor winner Sam Bailey has announced an exciting line-up of special guests for her show at King’s Lynn Corn Exchange on Friday 12 May, 7.30pm.
Acclaimed singer/songwriter NIKKI LOY will be opening for Sam, with her “smoky, sensuous and soulful” voice showcased in an acoustic set. Nikki has supported a host of stars such as jazz great Janette Mason, Americana artist Lauren Prichard, Decca Artist Krystina Myles and Irish pop folk singer Wallis Bird. She has also co-written for a well-known Saatchi & Saatchi ad campaign, and the award winning video for Nikki’s single Can I Keep You was chosen by the BBC to be part of their Music Video Festival, screened across the UK and also reaching the final of the UK Song writing Contest.
Over the past few months, Sam has been running competitions to search for local talent to support her on her tour, by inviting singers in each area to apply to be her special guest for one night. Lucia Nicole was selected by Sam to perform at Kings Lynn Corn Exchange.
Singer songwriter Lucia Nicole has been promoting herself as a new artist for the last two years and has been receiving all kinds of local media attention. Mixing epic synth pop/rock with souring soulful vocal lines, she has been tipped as the number one artist to watch by her local BBC introducing in 2017. She received “Gig of the year 2015” at BBC Introducing Hereford and Worcester and had a impressive turnout. She has performed at Lakefest, Nozstock and Colwall Festival and has also performed at several industry events in London.
Finally, Sam is delighted to be joined on stage by community choir Rock Choir – and commenting on it she says:
“I’m so happy to be performing with a choir on my tour. I love the depth a choir can add to live vocals and I want to put on an amazing show for my fans. I’m so excited for everyone to see what we have planned!”
