Go back to the future for the Suffolk Steampunk Spectacular!

Come along on 28th and 29th July 2018 to discover the weird and wonderful world of steampunk at this unique and glorious 2-day festival of gadgets and goggles, corsets and cabaret, music, magic and machines!

For the Fifth year running, the historic site of the Long Shop Museum in Leiston provides the perfect backdrop for you to soak up the fun festival atmosphere and revel in the retro sci-fi ambience of steampunkery with fashion and film, duels and jewels a marvellous marketplace, fabulous food and a veritable museum of curiosities.

Our vintage pop up tea room will be bursting with delicious homemade cakes, If that isn’t enough, our engines will be running and putting real steam into the day!

Join in with a very British (barmy but charming) battle of brews in the form of tea duelling! And go shop in the Long Shop during the day when this hub of steam and engineering history becomes an emporium like no other.  Discover quirky hand-made goods including pseudo-Victorian paraphernalia such as hats, jewellery and goggles fashioned from clever but eccentric designs incorporating cogs, watches and more!

With a superb program incorporating live music and entertainment, fun family hands on activities, high quality catering, locally sourced traders and more, it’s all set to be a multi-faceted weekend of magic and mayhem amongst the museum’s magnificent machines!
