Seven Ages to Explore Important Questions

Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds is delighted to welcome back Kevin Tomlinson and Abi Hood of Kepow Theatre Company with their show Seven Ages, a wonderful combination of comedy, drama and pathos. The show aims to explore two of the most important questions one can ever ask oneself: why am I here? And what’s important in my life? (Thu 21 Feb).

Seven Ages is a wonderful comedy theatre show that explores the idea that we go through seven stages in life, from infancy – through love and wisdom – to growing old disgracefully. Fresh from a sell-out world tour to 14 different countries across 4 different continents, Seven Ages has been seen at venues across the UK and garnered 5 star reviews at the Edinburgh Festival. The performance at Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds will be extra special as it is the 400th performance of the show!

Created by and starring Kevin Tomlinson (winner of the Sunday Times Playwright Award) and Abi Hood (The Bill, ITV) Kepow are now recognised as one of the UKs leading touring international theatre companies. The two performers take true stories from their own lives – and suggestions from the audience – and then weave them into amusing or touching scenes that will stay with you long after the show is over. Through these scenes a variety of topics are explored: childhood adventures, falling in love, attempting to find a rewarding purpose in life and enjoying new hobbies in retirement. A truly unique show that makes one re-assess one’s priorities in life, whilst simultaneously making you laugh. Suitable for 12-102 year olds, but not 103 year olds.

Seven Ages is at Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds for one performance only, Thu 21 Feb at 7.30pm. Tickets are on sale at the Box Office, call 01284 769505, book online at www.theatreroyal.org/shows/seven-ages-2/ or visit the theatre in person.
