Fresh from his qualifying appearance as Tina Turner on BBC1’s Let’s Dance for Sport Relief comedian Terry Alderton returns to The Junction this Friday.
After another smash hit run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year, a Canadian tour and appearances on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Road Show (BBC One), Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live (BBC Three) and Dave’s One Night Stand, the Perrier Award nominated comedian brings his phenomenal comedy rollercoaster to Cambridge.
Terry, and his hilariously unpredictable alter egos, will entertain and astound comedy fans with vocal gymnastics, extreme physical pranks and eerie insights into the inner workings of an unusual mind. This incredible hour of stand-up, uninhibited digressions, extraordinary caricatures, acute impressions and stunning sound effects must be experienced live to be believed.
Terry Alderton’s extensive TV credits include ‘The Royal Variety Performance’ (ITV1), ‘Comedy Store’ (Comedy Central), ‘The Stand Up Show’ (BBC One), ‘The World Stands Up’ (Paramount),‘Saturday Live’ (ITV1), ‘Edinburgh or Bust’ (Ch4), ‘The Match’ (Sky One). Terry will also be taking part in ‘Let’s Dance for Sport Relief 2012’ (BBC One). Film credits include ‘The Flirting Club’, ‘Keeping Mum’, ‘Black Ball’ and ‘The Jam’. Terry is the man behind internet sensations ‘Danny Dire’ and ‘Bloke Cast’ and short film 'Brahms and Liszt'.
