News: Uncle Funk advises 'Factor 15'

Uncle Funk will return to Saffron Walden’s Town Hall on Friday, December 23rd for their annual Christmas Party, with this year’s theme being ‘Old S’cool Disco’.

Famous across the UK for their huge afros, outrageous costumes and stunning live performances, Uncle Funk’s now-traditional Christmas party will see the UK’s #1 disco band deliver their biggest, brightest and silliest show to date. Simonella Funkenfurta, the band’s lead singer, warned, “Last year’s light show ensured everyone left with a tan, so we’re pleased to announce even more lights this year. We’ll be making it snow inside The Town Hall again and, for no reason whatsoever, we’ll be inviting the entire audience to take part in biggest and funkiest game of pass-the-parcel in the history of Saffron Walden.”

In addition, following The Pink Floyd Dimension’s recent press statement declaring that their shows involve “no wigs or gimmicks”, Uncle Funk would like to emphasise the use of “lots of wigs and gimmicks” at their shows.

Fans are once again being advised to buy their tickets early to avoid disappointment, after every one of Uncle Funk’s previous gigs at The Town Hall has sold-out well in advance. Half of the tickets available for this year’s Christmas gig have already been snapped up, after the band announced the gig on their Facebook page several weeks ago.
