Funny Money

August 10

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 12:00am, repeating until 18th August 2018

by Ray Cooney

A moment of absent-mindedness on the evening commute gives mild-mannered Henry Perkins custody of a briefcase full of money… Not his! A hastily planned emigration to Spain with his wife Jean is thwarted by her reluctance to go – and a few too many drinks! When not one but two police detectives turn up, Henry’s attempts to lie his way out of the situation grow in audacity and hilarity. It soon becomes apparent that the money belongs to a criminal mastermind who naturally wants it back…

Hysterical improbabilities collide in this side-splitting romp
from the undisputed master of the genre
