The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart
April 19 @ 7:30 pm
An event every day that begins at 7:30pm, repeating until 20th April 2017
Prudencia Hart has a passion for folk music – as the young academic travels to a conference in Kelso, the snow starts to fall and so begins a dream-like adventure of self-discovery. This beautiful and darkly comic tale is told in a series of mischievous storytellers, sometimes speaking in riotous rhyming verse, sometimes singing beguiling Border Ballads – they’ll set your toes tapping and your heart racing!
Originally produced by The National Theatre of Scotland, Eastern Angles’ ne wproduction of The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart will give audiences across the East of England the chance to experience this devilish, immersive, life-affirming and highly-acclaimed piece of theatre.
Part live folk-gig, part folk tale, part barn-storming comedy – Eastern Angles’ latest Spring Tour will thrill and haunt in equal measure!
