The 2016 Festival marked the centenary of the first concerts to be held in Thaxted Parish Church, organised at Whitsuntide 1916 by Gustav Holst. He and fellow composer Ralph Vaughan Williams did much to encourage music-making in the town over subsequent years, with the later involvement of Holst's daughter Imogen. To have YOUR event included in Grapevine Magazine all you have to do is add it online. It will need to be online by the 10th of this month for inclusion in next month’s magazine.
(Unless the 10th falls on a weekend or bank holiday in which case the deadline is 5pm on the Friday before)
If you miss the deadline for inclusion in the printed magazine your events will still appear online.
