Acoustic Sessions #2

Felixstowe’s Kev Walford is originally from Liverpool and formed his first band South Cheyenne in 1967. Many years later he re-located to Suffolk and soon became a part of the Suffolk Songwriters group with well-respected musician Andy Heasman who introduced Kev to a lot of other writers and singers on the scene. For the past two years Kev has been collaborating, gigging and recording with singer Kelly Pritchard, a well-established jazz singer based in Woodbridge who previously fronted her own band Chasing Storms. Kev and Kelly’s music can best be described as Americana/folk with maybe a touch of cajun and country thrown into the mix-with beautiful harmonies. This is their second EP and was made at The Recording Booth in Debenham. They are currently working on, yes, you’ve guessed it, Acoustic Sessions # 3.

[Update: our sources tell us that #3 will be a full blown album of songs…]
