Live Entertainment is Taking a Page From 1950s America it Seems.

Live entertainment would seem to heading back to 1950s America as promoters attempt to salvage what is left of the 2020 festival season. Ah the 50s in the USA, when you could drive up to a speaker-phone, place you order remotely and have it delivered to your Chevy Bel Air by a waitress clad in a gigham shirt and blue jeans.

Hold that thought! Hot on the heals of the announcement of the Mid Summer Drive-in Concert at Lavenham in Suffolk, and the Car Park Party at Chelmsford City Racecourse comes news of another series of drive-in concerts.

Utilita, a UK based utility company has partnered with promotions and ticketing company Live Nation to “power us out of our live entertanment lockdown” with more than 700 gigs, theatrical shows and film screenings across twelve venues across the UK.
