Brand-new spooktacular Halloween trail announced at Thetford Forest

by | May 20, 2025 | In other news

Your spookiest adventure under the stars awaits, as this October, a brand-new illuminated Halloween trail will transform High Lodge in Thetford Forest in Suffolk into a glowing, ghostly wonderland.

Halloween At Thetford Forest will run from 23 October – 1 November, and will include an eerie backlit woodland, where shadows move when you’re not looking, dense spider webs stretch across the path, glowing eyes watch from the trees, and a dazzling laser garden distorts the senses.

There will also be devilishly delicious snacks available to purchase. From bewitched burgers to freaky fries, there’s something for every monster in your crew. Sip on a wickedly good hot toddy or indulge in a decadent hot chocolate as you soak up the spooky atmosphere.

The perfect experience for friends and all the family, Halloween At Thetford Forest takes place during the October half-term. Kids can dress-up in their favourite spooky costumes, whilst dogs are welcome too, so your furry friends can join in on all the fang-tastic fun!

Whether you’re hunting for Halloween events near Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, King’s Lynn, Newmarket, Norwich or across Norfolk and Suffolk; Halloween At Thetford Forest is a must-visit destination. Ideal for families looking for Halloween days out, couples searching for spooky date night ideas, or friends searching for a ghoulish night out.
