British Army Bands Colchester at RHS

On Saturday 1st February the Royal Hospital School, Holbrook welcomes the British Army Bands Colchester who will perform alongside the RHS Concert Band in the Assembly Hall.  The Army Band based in Colchester was formed in 2019 and incorporates The Band of The Parachute Regiment, The Band of the Army Air Corps and The Band of The Queen’s Division.

The Band maintains links to its previous affiliation as it continues to support Colchester Garrison and The Parachute Regiment as well as delivering broader musical support to the Army and wider defence community.

Following an afternoon of rehearsals and workshops with the RHS Concert Band the two bands will take to the stage at 7pm for what promises to be a night to remember.

It is always a pleasure to see the school’s upcoming musicians being given an opportunity to play alongside a band of the caliber and experience of the Army Band.
