The 2017 BurySOUND Music Competition continued at The Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds on Friday with a hugely exciting heat, which saw young Cambridge hard rock four-piece Maverick (whose members are all 15/16 years old) go through to the final. The night also featured incredible performances by Bury folk-metallers Atorc, Bury/Cambridge alt-rock fivesome Echo Tree, teenage indie outfits Siah (Bury) and Zinc (Cambridge), and a mindblowing guest headline slot by Colchester electro-pop trio F.O.X.
Maverick will join Heat One winners Tundra, Heat Two winners Goldblume and special guest headliners Suburban Minds, who were winners of BurySOUND 2016, at The Apex on Friday 3rd March.
Heat Four of BurySOUND is on Friday 10th February at The Hunter Club with Fix, Iris, Kyanos, Stretch Soul Gang, televised and special guest headliner Kayzee.
