Choir To Perform Free Concert

The acclaimed Choir of St Michaels’s Church, Hamburg, will round off a UK tour with a free lunchtime concert in the chapel of the Royal Hospital School on 21st May 2016.

After performing to sold-out venues across Coventry, Norwich and Ipswich, the 50 piece ensemble will be giving a free recital in the school’s cathedral proportioned chapel at midday next Saturday.

The choir’s musical director, Manuel Gera, and the Director of Music of the Royal Hospital School, William Saunders, are close friends and have previously performed together in Hamburg with their respective choirs.  William said:

“It’s a great honour to host one of the premier chapel choirs in Europe, and I know that their programme of varied choral music will sound absolutely sublime in our chapel.”
