Celebrated jazz vocalist Clare Teal brings her energetic and swinging 9-piece ensemble to Suffolk featuring the very best of the Great American Songbook and British Song books as well as contemporary writers creating the standards of today.  Delivered with virtuosity, authenticity and panache, this is a show not to be missed!

This brand new show sees award winning vocalist and Radio 2 presenter Clare Teal and her excellent musicians effortlessly traverse a rich landscape of timeless and sparkling material, with standards from the grand masters of the Great American Song Book, Cole Porter & Rodgers & Hart to witty and urbane song stylists of the 50’s & 60’s Cy Coleman & Carolyn Leigh & Dave Brubeck, there’s always a nod to more contemporary writers and originals too.

This ensemble built to demonstrate the thrill and power of the big band age, packed with fantastic jazz players capable of taking flight at any given moment, gives a great backdrop for Clare to communicate her eclectic songbook of intimate ballads, roaring blues, sophisticated swing and fiery Latin tunes.
