Bill Bailey: Larks in Transit

Pronounced by The Guardian Guide as “approaching the status of national treasure” and hailed by The Times as being, “at the top of his game”, comedian musician BILL BAILEY has announced 36 EXTRA DATES to his BRAND NEW 2018 LIVE TOUR, LARKS IN TRANSIT. 50,000 new seats will go on general sale, this coming Friday, 29 September at 10.00am.

Kicking off in Coventry on 29 January 2018, LARKS IN TRANSIT will tour the length and breadth of the UK throughout spring, culminating at Peterborough Arena on 9 June 2018.

LARKS IN TRANSIT is a compendium of travellers’ tales and the general shenanigans of twenty years as a travelling comedian. With musical virtuosity, surreal tangents and trademark intelligence, Bill Bailey tackles politics, philosophy and the pursuit of happiness. Plus, he fashions a symphony from a ringtone, tells the real story of Old McDonald and re-imagines the Stars and Stripes. Two decades of touring larks from a comic described by The Telegraph as “the brainiest comic of his generation.”

British Comedy Award winner, has enjoyed success on the live stage for many years. Touring and headlining all over the world including the Edinburgh Festival, Sonisphere Rock Festival, London’s West End, New York and many more, receiving plenty of critical acclaim.

He has also done a number of TV, film and radio work, most notably being a team captain on the long running music, comedy panel show, Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC2) for 11 series and a series of nature and wildlife shows. He’s also been a long-term supporter of numerous charities.

You may remember we chatted to Bill last year too, why not take a look back.
