Comedy Club In Kings Lynn

The night of comedy begins with Paul Thorne, he is one of Britain’s most established and sought-after stand-ups. As well as performing at all of the UK’s major comedy venues and festivals he can be seen weekly at London’s Comedy Store as a member of The Cutting Edge team of comedians who perform topical material based on the week’s news. In addition to performing all over Europe Paul has taken his unique brand of comedy as far afield as Hong Kong, Thailand, Canada, Singapore, China and Japan and has toured extensively with Jack Dee, Lee Hurst and Rory Bremner.

Next on the mic is Andrew Bird, from Northamptonshire, he moved to London to pursue a career in stand-up. Andrew has become a top headline act up and down the UK as well as performing around the world from Dublin to Doha. He has also supported Rhod Gilbert and Lee Hurst on tour, and been the warm-up artist for TV shows including Nevermind The Buzzcocks, Room 101 and Pointless. Andrew is also a writer in demand having written for series such as 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Mock The Week.

Following Andrew will be Michael Legge, he is fast becoming the most sought after host on the comedy circuit. He is a unique comic talent with a background in improvisation, stand-up, writing, compering, hosting, acting and TV warm-up work. As a performer, he is sharp and cutting edge, whilst being cheeky, lively and charming. Currently one of the circuit’s most sought-after acts and hosts, Michael performs all over Britain and beyond, including The Irish Republic, Australia, Canada and Dubai.

Matt Green will be the MC for the night; Matt has been performing stand-up comedy since 2003, and has appeared at venues all across the UK and the world, including gigs in Australia, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Norway, Romania, Slovenia and Singapore! A regular and MC for many clubs including The Comedy Store, The Glee Club, The 99 Club, The Stand, The Comedy Box and Soho Comedy.
