Comedy in Chelmsford

This October Chelmsford’s Civic Theatre and Cramphorn Studio gives you not one, not two, but THREE top comedians!

Stars of those witty, musical Nationwide TV adverts, Flo and Joan bring their ‘Live on Stage’ show to the Cramphorn on Friday 5 October. The two sisters and their dark, funny songs have been selling out venues across the UK after debuting at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Flo and Joan had a viral hit in 2016 when their ‘Song’ received 47 million views across social media, and they have won many comedy awards since then.  This is a fantastic chance to see Flo and Joan in an intimate venue before they soar high in the comedy echelons.

Frank Sanazi showcases his comedy war machine when his ‘Iraq Pack Live from Das Vegas’ invades the Cramphorn Studio on Friday 12 October. Frank will be joined by his criminal sidekicks Dean Stalin, Sadam Davies Jnr and Osama Bin Crosby for a night of twisted swing classics. Be attacked by some uneasy listening as you sing along with ‘Strangers on My Flight’, ‘Jack Boots are Made for Walking’, and many more timeless classics, all given the Dictator seal of approval. The show was a hit in Edinburgh and is not for the faint-hearted or easily offended.

Iain Sterling brings his ‘U OK Hun? X’ stand-up show to the Civic Theatre on Wednesday 24 October. Known to millions as the voice of Love Island, as well as fronting The Dog Ate My Homework on CBBC. Iain is a Bafta-winning presenter and his ‘U OK Hun? X’ tour has been extended three times as it continues to sell-out. This is now the last opportunity to catch Iain’s show and his observations on modern millennial life as he explores dinner party etiquette, and asks ‘can social media ever reflect real life?
