Eliza Delf & The Wilderness Collective

Eliza Delf & The Wilderness Collective make a much-anticipated return to the stage in a headline show at the Norwich Puppet Theatre on Saturday 4th November.

Since their live debut in May, Eliza and her band have attracted a string of rave reviews. Flair, virtuosity, subtlety, and creativity are the hallmarks of their live performance – all underpinning the superstar vocals of Eliza. At times hushed and fragile, at times soaring and spine-tingling, at all times captivating – Eliza commands the stage and enchants the audience.

Eliza’s music joyfully trespasses across the carefully constructed genre boundaries of indie, folk, and progressive art rock, whilst leaving a trail of comparisons with Kate Bush, Florence Welch, and Annie Haslam in her wake.

Eliza and her band will be showcasing music from her remarkable debut album Into the Wilderness – released last year to widespread acclaim. Her songs draw inspiration from the darkly subversive folk tales of Angela Carter – with a dash of Me Too generation defiance to add fire to the poetry.

Eliza will be supported by Josh & Hash featuring Josh Harrison from indie-folk post- rock band Takeda.

Tickets £8 advance, £10 on the door. Available from Eventbrite directly, via the Puppet Theatre website, or from www.elizadelf.com. Doors open at 7.30pm. The venue is fully-seated.
