In a time when the Music Industry and Live Music is on hold, Essex-based business, The ShowCast Company are leading the way in providing a new way to keep the show on the road. With London based jazz/funk band, Bassistry, they will be putting on a full production live-streamed, interactive concert from The Quay Theatre in Suffolk.
How it Works? The show will not be pre-recorded, and will not be available on-demand viewing. It is a one-off ticketed show. The audience can be linked in from around the World watching the show from the comfort of their own homes. The band will be able to interact with the audience via messages sent during the show.
Bassistry, are familiar to Essex. The brainchild Marcel, partners the Essex Music Hub via running song writing workshops and providing music making music technology. Bassistry played Colchester Arts Centre in 2018.
Bassistry is a dynamic eclectic, vocal-led Nu Jazz band, that Blues & Soul Magazine’s, 5-star review, described as a “mix funk grooves with Latin Rhythms and pulsating electronic, and beautiful contemporary soundscapes.” The band features some of London’s finest musicians, who have toured and recorded with artists as diverse as Paloma Faith, Professor Green, Plan B, Tom Jones and Grace Jones.
