Cats in Space

CATS in SPACE have caused quite a stir since landing in 2015. With their unique sound they will transport you back to the days of 1970s Classic Rock, when bands like Queen, Boston, Styx, ELO and Journey ruled the airwaves. Think majestic songs, soaring vocal harmonies, power chord guitars, thundering drums and bass and huge, symphonic keyboards.

A high-class pedigree of players, who have performed with the likes of T’Pau, The Sweet, Ian Gillan, Mike Oldfield and Jeff Wayne’s War of the World, will ensure a performance of the highest calibre.  By touring with legendary rock giants like Deep Purple, Status Quo and Thunder, as well as playing Hyde Park with Phil Collins and Blondie, the Cats have accumulated an ever-growing army of faithful fans, gathering exceptional live reviews along the way.

With four critically acclaimed studio albums in ‘Too Many Gods’, ‘Scarecrow’, ‘Daytrip to Narnia’ and ‘Atlantis’ and a live album ‘Cats Alive!’, Cats in Space have established themselves as one of the front runners in the UK rock scene, making the UK national charts on three occasions and gaining airplay on Radio 2, while still remaining totally unique.

In 2022- 2023, the band have embarked on their boldest tour yet for ‘Kickstart the Sun’.  An epic production, the double album features fifteen songs and is being hailed as one of the “greatest albums this century” so far. Lead single and video ‘Poke The Witch made Classic Rock Magazine track of the week in April 2022, with follow-up single ‘Teenage Millionaires furthering the excitement for the new album.

Guitars soar like roving search beams and Queen’s ‘A Night At The Opera’ hears it all and goes home with its tail between its legs”.

With the press on their side, the band continue to impress all who see and hear them and continue to uphold their reputation of being one of the ‘best live bands you will see anywhere’.
