Holby City Star Lee Mead in Felixstowe, Colchester and Bury

Lee Mead, currently starring in BBC One’s Holby City, will embark on a theatre tour in 2019 with   Lee Mead – My Story.  Produced by Total Productions, Lee Mead – My Story will be a ‘stripped down’ show that will combine conversation and music and see Lee reflect on his life and career.    Audiences will have the chance to listen to Lee chat about the magical moments, the highs the lows, the memories of his life and of course performances of the songs that mean so much to him and his fans and have put him centre stage.

Selected from thousands of performers Lee Mead was thrust into the spotlight in 2007 to play the iconic lead role in the West End revival of Joseph, which enjoyed an incredible run that had to be extended to satisfy public demand to see Lee wear the coat of many colours!!  From that point Lee’s career has been a never-ending rollercoaster of engagements from stage to screen.   In the West End Lee has appeared in such classic musicals as Wicked and Legally Blonde, to the touring production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang to name just a few.   On television Lee has been a regular in Casualty and Holby City starring as Lofty Chiltern – a part written especially for him.

On the recording front Lee has released five albums – the most recent of which  Lee Mead 10 Year Anniversary was released to celebrate the ten years that have passed since Lee won the coveted role of Joseph.  Lee has also featured on countless others including The Best of Andrew Lloyd Webber.
