Greg Fitch releases ‘Engaged’

Greg Fitch is a guitarist from Suffolk.  He has been involved with music since a young age and has been a teacher and performer for many years

During this time he has been a finalist in young guitarist of the year and a winner of Musicman Guitars Jam Competition held at the Birmingham NEC.  Greg took lessons from guitar great Phil Hilborne and used to regularly play with Phil’s band, from the age of 12 when they came to Ipswich.  He met legendary producer Phil Harding whilst attending college and has played on a number of recordings for artists Phil has worked with including Samantha Fox, Curiosity Killed The cat and X Factor winner Joe McElderry.

‘Engaged’ is his first release for some time and the first one that he has sung on.  Greg has had many influences over the years from among others Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani, Eminem and The Prodigy.

‘Engaged’ features drummer, Pete Riley (Republica/Guthrie Govan/Motörhead ) Craig Rogers on bass and Julian Wiggins on keyboards and orchestral arrangements with Greg on guitars and vocals.

Greg  asked Phil Harding and Julian Wiggins if they would be interested in producing and mixing ‘Engaged’.  They agreed and started work on it in September 2018.  It has been mastered by Nigel Palmer from Lowland Masters in Essex.

Greg also plays solo gigs at venues around East Anglia and is available for radio session interviews and performances to promote this single.
