Janet Street Slaughter

Roaring into 2017, the twisted operatic punk-metal-psychedelia five-piece JANET STREET SLAUGHTER head to The Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds on Saturday 14th January, with the long-awaited live hometown debut.

Born from the much-lamented ashes of Voter Kernel, Janet Street Slaughter have wasted no time in recording their frankly incredible self-titled debut album, which they released as a free download on Christmas Day.

This gig is the album’s official launch party, and CD copies will be available on the door.

Supporting the band are: thrash/metal/jazz-fixated alt-rock threesome PROXIMUS, country songslinger JACK RUNDELL, some whiskey-drenched Bad Seeds-esque testifying care of THE FAILURE MEN (featuring former members of These Are End Times) and the electronic hazy post-tropical psychedelic dance-pop of BLOOD TALK.

An ear-tingling time will be had by all!
