The highlight of the new summer season at King’s Lynn Corn Exchange is The World’s Favourite Murder Mystery, Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap (13th – 18th June). The Mousetrap is famous around the world for being the longest running show of any kind in the history of theatre, with over 25,000 performances. This record-breaking 60th anniversary production is back by popular demand in 2016 starring Louise Jameson (Doctor Who, EastEnders, Doc Martin) as Mrs Boyle.
We have plenty of comedy on offer this season starting with The Naked Truth (29th & 30th April) It’s a women thing, as five very different women struggle hilariously to conquer pole dancing for an event to raise awareness and money for a breast cancer charity. It’s a show for women, about women, that men absolutely must see (if they dare!). Comedy stalwart Jethro returns with his new show 40 Years The Joker (4th May). Julian Clary brings his new show The Joy Of Mincing (25th May). Other comedy this season includes Graeme Of Thrones (15th May) Created by a team of some of the UK’s top comedy writers, Graeme Of Thrones is an original and un-authorised parody on the international phenomenon that is Game Of Thrones. Russell Kane is here with his new show Right Man Wrong Age (11th June), If you want to see future stars of comedy the King’s Lynn Corn Exchange Comedy Clubs (21st April, 2nd & 30th June, 28th July & 21st Sept) showcase four rising stars from the touring circuit in a relaxed cabaret setting.
A brand new show Whitney – Queen Of The Night (8th May) is a stunning celebration of the music and life of one of the greatest singers of our time. This award winning production features a stellar line-up with rising West End star Rebecca Freckleton delivering a powerhouse and breath-taking performance. delivering hit after hit. Another musical treat is Gareth Gates starring in Mad About The Musicals 10th Anniversary (1st June) taking you on a whistle stop tour from the heart of London’s West End to the glitz of Broadway, celebrating the very best songs from the shows we all know and love! We’re very pleased to welcome back the fantastic Russell Watson (26th & 27th May). The Tenors Un Limited take us on a musical journey from Venice to Vegas (14th May). Ellen Kent productions bring us the beautiful backdrop of Rome with a full orchestra in Puccini’s Tosca (13th April). G4 return with their flawless vocals and harmonies (12th Sept).
The Award winning company, Ballet Cymru, present an extraordinary vision. Two stories from the mind of the most popular storyteller in the world, Roald Dahl (9th June). We are very happy to welcome back Breakin Convention (24th May). Experience the very best in hip hop dance from around the globe and around the corner – live on stage. Spilling off the stage the action continues in the foyers with DJs, freestyle dance circles and graffiti exhibitions.
Little ones will be kept entertained with The Gruffalo’s Child as the story comes to life on stage (23rd & 24th June). Mister Maker brings his first ever live show to the Corn Exchange (21st May). Jamie Raven will leave you spellbound with his astounding magic show (26th June).
If you enjoy Strictly Come Dancing you will love Life Through Dance with Pasha Kovalev (10th April), or if you fancy A Night Of Dirty Dancing (28th April) this show has been re-cast and re-scripted especially for 2016. Another dance show if you’re looking for a great girl’s night out is The Dreamboys (13th May).
David Starkey the UK’s leading Historian is back here this time talking about the dramatic story of The King is Dead, Royal death and succession under the Tudors (15th April), for an entertaining evening come and join Psychic Sally (18th May). See Sue Lowry with her powerful rendition of Crazy in Patsy Cline & Friends (7th July), making their debaut here is Never 42 (5th Sept) established as the forerunner Level 42 Tribute Band based in the UK.
A SOLD OUT performance The Hollies (8th April), and a return visit from That’ll be The Day with their sensational show (22nd Sept) and we are pleased to welcome Dr Hook starring Dennis Locorriere (23rd Sept).

King’s Lynn Corn Exchange opens its doors (11th Sept) with an Open Day giving you a chance to go behind the scenes.
Now booking for the Autumn season is Bill Kenwright’s Save The Last Dance For Me from the company that brought you the sell-out Dreamboats and Petticoats (13th – 17th Sept). An Evening with Jimmy Osmond and his Band bring the songs of Andy Williams to our stage in his new show Moon River And Me (28th Oct).
