Laurence Jones Announces 2024 UK Headline Tour

Award-winning Blues-Rock guitarist Laurence Jones announces 2024 UK Headline Tour which will see him returning with a full electric power-trio tour to the United Kingdom for eight dates commencing on Saturday 2nd March 2024 at The Old Brewery Store (Britain’s Oldest Brewery) in Faversham, Kent presented by Marshall Records and Bourne Music Club.

The tour then rolls into Pontardawe in Wales, Chiselhurst, Lyme Regis (The rock legend Ian Gillan of Deep Purple is the venue’s Patron), a hometown show for Laurence at St Helen’s, Cranleigh (Laurence helped Paul Jones and Friends raise £10,000 for charity when he last played there) before an intimate warm-up show in Carlisle prior to his two-night support to Status Quo at Kelvingrove Bandstand, Glasgow, Scotland on the 30th and 31st May 2024.

This time, he returns with his new power trio and a sizzling new album, “Bad Luck & the Blues” out now on Marshall Records.

Released in August 2023, the album blends deep-rooted blues with classic rock ‘n’ roll. It’s the perfect showcase for Laurence’s raw talent.

Speaking about the tour, Laurence enthuses “I’m very excited to be playing a short run of UK before heading out on the road supporting Status Quo for 2 dates at The Kelvingrove Bandstand. My Power trio will be visiting Faversham, Pontardawe, Chislehurst, Lyme Regis, St Helens, Sedgefield, Leicester, Cranleigh & Carlisle. See you on the road”!

Music Radar voted the young Laurence one of the world’s top 10 blues-rock guitarists. He’s shared stages with legends like Sir Van Morrison, Sir Ringo Starr, Jeff Beck, and Joe Bonamassa.

During lockdown, Laurence re-discovered his love of Robin Trower’s guitar playing. It also reignited his passion for the power trio format. The new album and band line up echoes to the sounds of Gary Moore and Jimi Hendrix. And more contemporary influences such as Queens of The Stone Age, Jack White, and Royal Blood.

For Laurence, every performance matters due to his battle with Crohn’s disease. He lives each day to the fullest, and it shows in his music. Expect killer riffs, blistering solos, and a raw energy that’s impossible to resist. Don’t miss this jaw-dropping experience!
