“Summer Folk” will feature songs and tunes in celebration of the season and also the various “special days” that occur during the summer months – including World Environment Day, International Friendship Day and Women’s Equality Day.
The featured Artists will be Peter & Jane, a much in demand folk duo from Suffolk with numerous club and festival appearances to their name as well as headlining shows at the Canopy Theatre and support slots for artists from Canada and the USA. Latest album “The Traveller’s Cloak” has had positive reviews from Folk London Magazine, FATEA Magazine and Songlines Magazine plus coverage on BBC Radio. They will be supported by folk/Americana duo Silver Moon and a new folk collective Jolly Good Company which includes stalwarts of the Suffolk & Norfolk folk circuit. This is a fundraising event in aid of the Blossom Charity.
