Suffolk based band “The Silburys” are to play a free concert at the “Moon & Mushroom” in Swilland, Suffolk on Bank Holiday Monday 31st May. The music will start at 2.00pm and, in line with the Governments Covid-19 guidelines, will be held outside at the popular country pub – with table service for providing food and drink.

This will be the Silburys first live performance since summer 2020 and the band are delighted to be playing at the Moon & Mushroom – a winner of “Best Country Pub” in Suffolk and listed in the “Mail on Sunday” top 100 “Cosiest pubs in Britain”

The Silburys play a lively mix of folk/acoustic rock. Despite the Covid lockdown restrictions of the last year they have kept busy – including releasing their 4th CD (“Live at Springfest”, which has received airplay throughout the country on folk and roots radio stations) producing a number of videos to their music, and providing theme and incidental music for podcasts by Suffolk broadcaster, Emily Slade.

For up to date information on the Silburys concert check the Moon and Mushroom facebook page or (to book a table) phone the pub on 01473 785 320. For more information about the Silburys, their recordings, concerts and videos, visit www.thesilburys.com or follow them on Twitter and Facebook.
