Cambridge Modern Jazz, locked out – but not knocked out!

… and to be quite honest we’re more than a bit put out, having lined up a superb Spring – Summer season.  Covid19 has forced us out of our usual venues for the foreseeable future.  We’re locked out but not knocked out, and it seems only right to try and share some of the great jazz that might have been.

So from today CMJ becomes QMJ ‘Quarantined Modern Jazz’.

Each week where we had planned a gig, our jazz-cast will feature a short biography of the featured artist/band with video and sound links to recent performances, albums, reviews and interviews where available.

We hope that will soften the blow a bit and enable you to enjoy the superb jazz on offer.  Maybe follow-up a bit more on the artists.  We’d also welcome your feedback and will do our best to ensure that QMJ continues to spread the vibe.
