The Choir of Clare College, Cambridge has gained an international reputation as one of the world’s leading university choirs. In addition to its primary function of leading services three times a week in the College chapel, the Choir keeps an active schedule recording, broadcasting, and performing. The Choir’s 2017/18 season includes Handel’s Messiah with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Mozart’s Requiem with the Manchester Camerata in Bridgewater Hall, concert appearances across the UK and overseas at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, and across the United States of America, France, Malta and Gozo. In 2017 the Choir staged a major project to mark the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, performing eight Bach Cantatas culminating in a recording for Harmonia Mundi.
