Festival of the Year 2018

What summer festival should be our Festival of the Year 2018?

We go to a lot of festivals in the East of England – from the world-famous Latitude to some of the newer, quieter, funkier, different festivals.  Last year our editorial team decided unanimously that the awesome FolkEast deserved to be our inaugural ‘Festival of the Year’ and it did not disappoint.

This year our editors want to hear from you on the subject of the best festival in the East of England.  You could be a fan, an organiser, a promotions company or maybe you are a performer – tell us why YOUR favourite festival should take on the mantle of Grapevine Festival of the Year 2018.

Many of you will be buying early bird tickets as Christmas or Birthday presents… What?  You never thought of that brilliant idea?  And they are so easy to wrap – or so our sub editor tells us!   But if you are buying tickets for 2018, tell us why.

Our decision on the Grapevine Festival of the Year 2018 will be made public during the first week of February.  It will be a combination of your submissions and our editor’s and reviewer’s experiences.

Our festival of the year will benefit from reduced advertising rates and printing offers from our sister company ColourPlan Print as well as social media promotions and other opportunities which we will discuss with the organisers.

To tell us why YOUR favourite festival should be OUR Festival of the Year 2018 send us an email with your pitch – no longer than 200 words please – to festival2018@grapevinelive.co.uk Closing date for entries is Thursday 25th January 2018.
