Maui Waui is a 3 day festival of international music, performance and arts, and now in it 5th year it is fast becoming one of the area most exciting festivals in East Anglia, pulling in accomplished as well as undiscovered bands and performers from all around the globe.
Maui Waui focuses on an all-welcoming family feel with lots to do for children as well as adults; hosting world class bands, full circus shows in a dedicated circus tent, small upbeat bands and acoustic acts, plus cabaret and comedy. If you have not been before, come along and explore their world – you will not be disappointed!
The festival has five main areas of entertainment but the Main Stage is the biggest venue at the festival and runs throughout the whole weekend, hosting anything from small local bands to huge 20 piece orchestras and world famous bands. The tent is filled with beautiful decor all handmade in the Maui Waui HQ – Velvet Drapes, Black and White Chequerboard, giant inflatables & much more.
Creativity, art and extravagant décor is at the heart of Maui Waui. Months of creative work go into the event, both before the event and on site, ensuring that its 5 venues and many attractions really look the part. This attention to detail is what really sets this event apart from other small festivals, along with the colourful and vibrant folk who attend, all of which makes for an electric atmosphere on the site.
The festival is proud to have a green policy; we recycle 80% of all our rubbish on site. We use Solar energy to power our lighting around site and have ethical trading and food standards plus we ensure our food & drink vendors charge reasonable prices.
This year we are also hosting the Maui’s Got Talent Competition – if you are a performer aged 16 or under, here’s your chance to shine (see the website for more details).
