Move On Up Soul Nights

Back by popular demand, it’s super cool Soul DJs, Garry Emms (East Anglia) and Steve Greensides (Tune Up) for another high energy night of dancing to Northern Soul and Motown music with just the right balance between the two.

Garry said: “There’s a special treat in store for those at this September event as the popular band, Heavy Sol, a much admired mod band will be playing the sounds of The Small Faces, Who, Jam and Weller cover. Plus loads of Northern Soul & Tamla Motown classics on vinyl, don’t miss itI’m looking forward to returning in September after the great night we had at the Hall in July – thanks to everyone for supporting it!”

Featuring spins, flips, and backdrops, the Northern Soul dancing style was inspired by the stage performances of visiting American soul acts such as Little Anthony & The Imperials and Jackie Wilson.
