Shakin’ Stevens

Shakin’ Stevens is all set to drive his Norwich fans crazy in ‘This Ole House’ when he arrives on stage at Norwich Theatre Royal on May 7th next year.

The evergreen rock ‘n’ roll entertainer and songwriter, who was the UK’s highest-selling singles artist of the 1980s, is stepping out from behind his Green Door to embark on his biggest ever nationwide tour visiting 33 towns and cities over six weeks in late Spring 2017.

Shaky’s catalogue of hits ranges from Green Door and Oh Julie, to This Ole House, You Drive Me Crazy, A Love Worth Waiting For and Merry Christmas Everyone, which was his festive smash hit number one in 1985 and still a perennial favourite.

Shaky said: “I can’t wait to get back on the road, and introduce the songs from Echoes Of Our Times to people who have seen me perform in the past, and those who have not.”

Shakin’ Stevens: Echoes Of Our Times is at Norwich Theatre Royal on Sunday, May 7, at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £8-£35 and will be on sale from the theatre’s box office from 9.30am on Monday, September 26; with a portion held off sale for Friends of the Theatre which will be available at a later date. Call on 01603 630000, or go online at www.theatreroyalnorwich.co.uk.
