Youth Killed It

British alternative rockers from Norwich, Youth Killed It, have released a new song titled “Molly” from their upcoming debut album “Modern Bollotics”, due out on 12th May 2017 via Rude Records. Pre-orders are available now. The band will also embark on a UK tour to support the release of the record.

Singer Jack Murphy says about the song’s meaning:

“Molly is a song written about my life partner, my soul mate and my best mate in the world, Molly the Maine Coon (Cat). For just over a year now we have lived in each others company, we eat, sleep and watch TV together and it has been a life changing experience, I’m covered in scratches, my clothes are completed with holes and fur but I wouldn’t change it for the world and that’s what the song states. You just don’t know a friendship like this until you’ve experience it first hand.”

Youth Killed It’s debut album “Modern Bollotics” is charged with strong bass lines, crisp guitar sounds and heavy drums that recall funk and hip-hop. A musical recipe guaranteed to leave you with earworms that’ll be stuck in your head for days, along with the uncontrollable urge to move!

14/05 – Manchester, Satans Hollow
15/05 – Leeds, Santiago Bar
16/05 – Leicester, The Shed
