March Highlights at Spa Pavilion

It promises to be a manic March at Felixstowe’s Spa Pavilion Theatre with something for everyone.

You can laugh your way into the new month with ‘Jongleurs Comedy: On the Road’ on Friday 4th March at 8pm. This show stars Kevin McCarthy, Jack Campbell, Richard Whymark, and Herbie Adams.

Kev Orkian, owner of Jongleurs, says: “We’re delighted to be bringing Jongleurs to such a fantastic venue! Those of you that remember Jongleurs Comedy Clubs can expect a refreshing change, as we move Jongleurs forward for a new generation of Comedy lovers.”

On Saturday 5th March, the man in black is back! By popular demand, Rick McKay returns to Felixstowe with his amazingly authentic ‘Johnny Cash Revisited’ show – co-starring Jodie McKay as June Carter-Cash.

On Saturday 12th, it’s ‘The Music of Northern Soul’. This sensational show features the UK’s premier live Northern Soul Band, The Signatures – with lead vocalist Stefan Taylor, plus original Northern Soul legend Lorraine Silver! Expect a full set of passion and energy, guaranteed to get the audience “Out On The Floor”.

For a delightful matinee show, on Wednesday 16th March (3PM), Lynda Radford stars as Doris Day, joined by the ‘Day At Night’ band. ‘The Doris Day Songbook’ features over 24 popular hits, interwoven with stories, anecdotes and facts about the life of this special lady.

A double-show weekend sees ‘The Sound of Springsteen’ performing on Saturday 19th March, and jazz musician Clare Teal brings her acclaimed sextet at 7.30pm on Sunday 20th for a night of fantastic live celebration of 100 years of music with an array of jazz and pop hits given the full Teal treatment.

Finally, on Saturday 26th March, it’s ‘ELO Again’! Like “Mr. Blue Sky”, we’ve all “had to hide away for so long”… But now you can join in this joyous celebration of all your favourite hits!

For another way to support the Spa and enjoy the panoramic sea views, their café, bars & restaurant are open every day, 10am to 5pm, with hot & cold drinks, homemade cakes and food served all day, including a fabulous Sunday roast. Food is always served for two hours before every performance, with reservation advised on 01394 336 336.
