New Noise! To Showcase The Best New Musical Talent

by | Feb 4, 2024 | Music, Featured

Taking place on the first Tuesday of every month from February until June at Voodoo Daddy’s Showroom on London Street, acts taking to the stage come from all four partners. Acts include $ebbuku, Lucy Grubb, Mama Oh No, Bag of Cans and more.

Dan Foden, Head of Campus at Access Creative College Norwich said “The opportunity to team up with vital creative organisations like Norfolk Music Hub, Play Produce Promote and Pica pica, Pica pica! to bring these shows to life has been incredible. We’re giving amazing opportunities to a whole host of fresh young talent from across the four organisations, and giving a boost to Norfolk grassroots talent in general. Helping these performers raise their profile at the start of their careers, especially at a fantastic new venue like Voodoo Daddy’s, is very special.”

The first New Noise! is on February 6th, headlined by $ebbuku, a young musician and alumni of Access Creative College’s Artist Development course, now building a strong fanbase in the region. $ebbuku has delighted fans at Latitude and First Light Festival with his brutal, thumping beats, cut-up tracks and explosive energy. This exciting performer is not one to be missed.

“Me and the band are extremely stoked to be playing the first New Noise! of 2024! It’s such a great opportunity for young artists to have their performance showcased, especially at the new Voodoo Daddy’s venue! New Noise! will lead to more new talent growing their careers by hitting stages like Latitude and Play Produce Promote shows, which was really important to me when I started my journey in this industry. It’s not only looking like it’s going to be a great show but a fantastic project for the Norfolk music scene.” – $ebbuku

The lineup for February’s New Noise! is $ebbuku, Arthur Black, Jen Jen and samarchy, with the full lineup for each month to be announced soon. Tickets are live now and can be purchased for £5 from Voodoo Daddy’s website. The first show starts at 7pm. Readers are encouraged to keep an eye out on Voodoo Daddy’s website and partner’s @newnoisenorfolk for more information on other planned shows.
