One Man, Two Guvnors at the New Wolsey Theatre

A new production of the multi-award-winning ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS, which launched James Corden’s career into the stratosphere, will premiere at the New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich from Thursday 5 September to Saturday 28 September before performances at Nuffield Southampton Theatres from Tuesday 1 October to Saturday 12 October 2019.

The New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich, in association with Nuffield Southampton Theatres, presents a hilarious new production of Richard Bean’s riotous farce, based on The Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni, directed by acclaimed New Wolsey Theatre Artistic Director Pete Rowe, whose recent adaptation of ONCE, the musical received six nominations in the Off West End Theatre Awards.

Set in the colourful underworld of Brighton in the swinging sixties, with songs by Grant Olding, this high-octane physical and verbal comedy, guarantees to provide audiences with a belly-aching, side-splitting, night at the theatre, and the talented production team with another hit version of the show.
