“Redemption” are a dedicated 5 piece band of ex professional musicians from East Anglia. After the incredible amount of years touring alongside some of the biggest names in the British music scene they have decided to return to their roots and share their wealth of experience and passion for the music they love. One of the key musicians, Nigel Portass on Hammond keyboards, is one of Britain’s finest session musicians, having played on many hits with artists such as Van Morrison, Chuck Berry, Tom Jones, Rod Stewart… Singer & bass player Joe Hartley has also made a name for himself on the east Anglian music scene playing with with "whole lotta hair" and "Addisons Uncle". On saxophone and flute, John Wilmot from the world famous “James Taylor Quartet“. The band’s repertoire shows off all their individual styles with the guys being able to play everything from Rock, Funk, Blues, Soul and Rock n Roll, performing hits by artists such as B.B. King, Booker T and the MGs, James Brown, Little Richard, Jerry Lee lewis, The Doobie Brothers, Chuck Berry and Stevie Wonder.
