At Grapevine Magazine we are doing our best to keep on top of what is happening in LIVE entertainment in the region. Local restrictions and changing rules mean that some planned events get re-arranged at short notice – always check directly with the venue before planning an evening out.

Tell us about your LIVEgigs – email and we will, for a limited time, add them to our online listings for you.

The Statins

The Statins are a top new wave tribute band, a three-piece with a wealth of experience in the music industry. They have supported bands such as the Buzzcocks, Eddie and the Hot Rods, Dr Feelgood, The Records, Bad Manners and John Otway. Singer/bassist Pete was once headhunted by Phill Jupitus, guitarist Steve was signed to Stiff Records/F-Beat and so solid drummer Dean is part of a musical family which includes guitar legend Robin Trower.
The songs of Elvis Costello, XTC, the Jam, Clash, Joe Jackson, Ramones, The Undertones, Talking Heads and many more from that great era, are among many that The Statins play.
