RARE Productions are an amateur youth musical theatre company, who produce shows giving local children and young adults the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience. This year, they are back with a production of Bugsy Malone and are looking for local children and young adults to audition.
The auditions are free and there is no need to book a time slot, just arrive at any time during the audition. The audition takes between 20-30 minutes and auditionees will be taught a short excerpt from a song, a short movement routine and will be asked to read from a script, so there is no need to prepare anything. Auditionees are required to wear comfortable clothing.
Auditions take place on the following:
Tuesday 25 February
5 – 6pm (8 – 12 year olds)
6 – 7pm (13 – 21 year olds)
Ipswich Regent Theatre
Sunday 1 March
2 – 3.30pm (8 – 12 year olds)
3.30 – 5pm (13 – 21 year olds)
Northgate Arts Centre
Auditionees are only required to attend one set of auditions. Show week is Thursday 18 – Saturday 20 June 2020 at Ipswich Regent Theatre.
