Southend guitarist and songwriter Steve Hooker celebrates his 40th anniversary in fine style with another set of original tracks. All six tracks were engineered by John Hannon at No Recording in Essex and feature his regular rhythm section. As ever, Steve has successfully re-produced his no-nonsense live sound in a studio setting and, once again, has come up with great artwork for the Cd release. Steve has been a leading light on the Thames delta music scene for several decades and has worked with and recorded with many of the acts associated with that part of Essex including Wilko Johnson. This is a fine addition to the Stripped Down Stompin’ Band catalogue and will keep his legion of fans on both sides of the English Channel very happy.

Tracks : Don’t Look Behind You/Nine Yards/Keep On Keepin’ On/Catch On (new version)/Two Trains Running/Hound Dog Shake.
