Top stage star Philippa Stefani will take on the role of Gloria fresh from starring in a host of high-profile touring and West End shows including Rent, Smokey Joe’s Café, High Society, Ghost, Wicked and Fame.

Meanwhile Emilio will be played by George Ioannides whose previous productions include the UK tour of An Officer and A Gentleman, and both Annie and Mamma Mia in the West End.

They will join a cast of top UK stage talent in the show which features many of Gloria’s iconic pop hits including Rhythm Is Gonna Get You, Conga, Get On Your Feet, Don’t Wanna Lose You and 1-2-3.

The show was a huge hit across the Atlantic running on Broadway for two years and also enjoyed a successful US tour on top of a popular run in Holland.

Audiences love to celebrate the life and music of Gloria Estefan who has sold over 100 million records worldwide and is one of the most successful Latin crossover performers in the history of pop music boasting 39 Number One hits in the US Billboard charts alone

Gloria said she cannot wait to bring On Your Feet to Norwich. She said: “The UK has not only been an important source of beautiful music for our world but has also played an integral role in my own personal musical history. To have our life story playing throughout the UK is a dream I could never have imagined coming true. I am thrilled and excited beyond words.”
