The Double Dip Club

On Friday 26 February the doors to The Double Dip Club open for a second time for a night of decadence and dance, evocative sounds and vintage sights. Housed at The Rep, Ipswich a beautiful venue that lends itself to everything Double Dip represents, 3 acts will span the decades and thread together a fabulous evening of revelry.

The main act of the night is Chap-Hop superstar Professor Elemental. Blending witty remarks and Electro-Swing his unique style is brilliantly entertaining, intelligent and a must see. The spectacular DJ Roki will be spinning the best in Swing, Jazz and Jive records on his two vintage gramophones. He is one of the most in demand vintage DJs in the industry and will provide an authentic and exciting soundtrack for the night. Finally the return of the Hep-to-Step dancers who brought much enjoyment for our first event in teaching everyone some simple Jive steps. They will be here once more to give another easy-to-learn tutorial in dance for beginners and experts alike.

With local support from Pocket Watches and Petticoats, Arlingtons Brasserie, LoveOne, Lady Norfolk & Lord Rust vintage shop, and with previous acts including J.S. & The Lockerbillies and Electro-Swing DJ Tallulah Goodtimes, The Double Dip Club is establishing itself as a focal point for the vintage scene in Suffolk. We hope you can join us for a night of splendid style, dance and music.
