Over 30 years, the Solid Silver 60s Show has entertained the nation and celebrated history’s most successful decade of music.  Commonly referred to as an institution on the 60s circuit, The Solid Silver 60s Show is the UK’s original and premier sixties show, bringing classic hits performed by the original hit makers on Tuesday 9 May, 7.30pm.

We are delighted to welcome back Solid Silver 60s favourites THE MERSEYBEATS. Performing alongside them, after his successful appearance on last year’s tour, we are delighted to welcome back DAVE BERRY. Completing this stellar line up, we are thrilled to see the return of WAYNE FONTANA and VANITY FARE to the bill and are delighted to welcome back our very special guest CHRIS MONTEZ from the USA.

Firmly established as one of Ireland’s greatest ever entertainers, Dominic Kirwan hits the road again in 2017 with a brand new show on Thursday 11 May, 7.30pm.

Accompanying Dominic on the 2017 tour will be Lisa Stanley, one of Ireland’s top female vocalists and star of TV Channel Keep It Country’s – The Lisa Stanley Show.

Dominic and Lisa bring their own inimitable style to the vast and rich musical heritage of their homeland. Mixed with the unique quality as versatile entertainers performing a selection of various musical styles, including, Pop, Country and Rock n Roll. 

The producers of Sing-a-Long-a Sound of Music and Sing-a-Long-a GREASE bring you their latest interactive film. The brand new sing-a-long-a screening will be Dirty Dancing, the classic film starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.

It’s the Summer of 1963, it’s college boys versus dancing hunks, it’s one of the best loved movies of all time and, yes, there is a guy as great as your dad.

Join Baby and Johnny in a fun-filled screening of the 1987 dance classic film where YOU are the stars of the show. Our host, will lead a vocal warm up, show you how to use your ‘magic moments fun pack’ and have you dancing really dirty on Saturday 13 May, 7.30pm. Fancy dress not obligatory but highly recommended, and this film carries a 15 certificate and contains adult content.

King’s Lynn Corn Exchange is very happy to welcome back David Starkey, on Sunday 14 May at 7.30pm. This year he is concentrating on Henry VIII the only king whose shape you remember. He bestrides our history like a colossus and the decisions he took still reverberate today. The Reformation is the first Brexit; his ministers devised the doctrine of parliamentary sovereignty and his tumultuous personal life pitted religion against politics as brutally as in our own age of Isis.

In this lecture David Starkey draws on his unique knowledge of Henry’s reign on the one hand, and his insights as a leading commentator on modern politics on the other, to illuminate both the Tudor age and our own.

Get ready to step back in time and relive special moments from the career of dancing extraordinaire, Fred Astaire. The ‘Remembering Fred Tour’ will take you on a magical journey of dance, live music and entertainment supported by special appearances from various celebrity guests. 

Brought to life by the producer of Darcey Bussell and Katherine Jenkins’ Viva La Diva, Remembering Fred will feature song and dance, celebrating the legacy of one of Hollywood’s true screen legends and entertainers.

Aljaz and Janette will be performing steps and turns from the golden age of Hollywood’s most celebrated dance routines. Audiences will hear from famous Fred fans including Twiggy, Darcey Bussell, Don Black and Bruce Oldfield who will share stories of how the screen icon touched their lives and discuss what made him so special. 

The show, which promises to be a magical evening of top hat, white tie and wonderful tales, is backed by a full supporting cast of dancers, a live band and sensational singers. The cast will perform classics from the American Songbook, written by the likes of George & Ira Gershwin, Irving Berlin and Cole Porter. See it Tuesday 16 May, 7.30pm but hurry as there’s limited availability.

Whitney – Queen Of The Night, is returning after a fantastic show and reaction last time – it’ll be here on Saturday 20 May at 7.30pm.  A stunning celebration of the music and life of one of the greatest singers of our time

This award winning production features a stellar line-up with rising West End star Rebecca Freckleton delivering a powerhouse and breathtaking performance as Whitney. Taking us on a magical rollercoaster ride through three decades of classic hit’s that include, I Wanna Dance With Somebody, One Moment In Time, I’m Every Woman, Greatest Love of All, My Love is Your Love, So Emotional Baby, Run to You, I will Always Love You, That’s What Friends Are For, and many more, the show beautifully remembers the most highly awarded female artiste in the world ever!

Whitney’s one true legacy was her music which touched most of us at some time in our lives.

Award Winning Ballet Cymru present a stunning version of Shakespeare’s most magical play – A Midsummers Night’s Dream visits us on Wednesday 31 May at 6.30pm; as presented by Ballet Cymru.

This funny and heart-warming adaptation features vibrant classical choreography danced by some of the finest dancers around. Mendelssohn’s joyous music is interpreted by Artistic Director Darius James and highlights radiant costumes, sets and video projection.

The Queen of the Fairies Titania, and Puck the mischievous messenger, inhabit the supernatural fairy kingdom. Bottom and his boot-wearing “Rude Mechanicals” present their famous play Pyramus and Thisbe. And finally, the lovers, caught in a thrilling web of mistaken identity and confusion finally find their way through the Athenian forest to an unforgettable and joyous reconciliation.

Ballet Cymru are a young, vital group of dancers who are pushing back the barriers of classical ballet. Using powerful and timeless stories the company challenges its dancers to interpret some of the finest characters in literature. Under the Artistic Direction of Darius James, the company continues to develop its relationship with audiences through accessible outreach work and exceptional, stylish performances.
