That’s Entertainment

One of the biggest stars of musical theatre and honorary local East Anglian girl Ruthie Henshall, whose multi-award winning career has seen her star in some of the most successful musicals of the past three decades, will bring the golden 1940s and 50s era of music alive on stage at Norwich Theatre Royal from September 5-10.

The four times Olivier-nominated musical theatre artist will be joined by one of Britain’s favourite vocal harmony groups, The Overtones, in a sparkling song and dance extravaganza called That’s Entertainment.

It will feature Hollywood’s all-time greatest hits from legendary composers such as George Gershwin, Lerner and Loewe, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, and Rodgers and Hammerstein, with numbers ranging from That’s Entertainment, Puttin’ On The Ritz and I Got Rhythm, to There is Nothing like a Dame, You’ll Never Walk Alone and more – and there will also be a right Royal knees-up with a special tribute to London’s Pearly Kings and Queens.
