Youth Theatre Auditions

Bury Theatre Royal are delighted to be casting its youth production of Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. They are looking for budding actors, singers and dancers to audition for this production aged between 9-22 and particularly interested in those with a flair for comedy, character roles and play a musical instrument. First round of auditions are on Saturday 4th November between 2pm and 6pm.

This is the first adaptation of Treasure Island by Phil Willmott, with great parts for both male and female performers. The production will also feature original music by David Lewington, who worked with them recently as musical director on Our Day Out. The rehearsal period will be from Tuesday 9th January to 5th April 2018 leading towards 4 performances, Thursday 5th April to Saturday 7th April 2018.

You need to be hard working, a keen actor, singer and dancer, and be prepared to attend all rehearsals if offered a place in the company. You will be required to work weekly on Tuesday evenings from 5pm-9pm and also be prepared to work extra dates as we near the production including some weekends.
