The Mercury at Abbey Fields

Mercury at Abbey Field is a pop-up performance venue in the heart of Colchester that will house a range of performances whilst redevelopment work continues on the main building. This stunning fully heated, undercover, temporary theatre will open in Autumn 2019 – offering a varied programme of top-notch comedians, toe-tapping music, misbehaving puppets and culminating in our sparkling annual pantomime!

Mercury Theatre announces the return of pantomime favourites Antony Stuart-Hicks and Dale Superville for Cinderella The Mercury Theatre’s 2019-20 pantomime Cinderella, taking place at our upcoming off-site venue, will see the return of much-loved cast members Antony Stuart-Hicks and Dale Superville. Cinderella will run from Sat 30 Nov 2019 – Sat 5 Jan 2020 in the theatre’s new temporary venue Mercury at Abbey Field, with Stuart-Hicks and Superville working closer together than ever before as they portray the Ugly Stepsisters.…
