Also known as Nick Rayns LCR after the man who ran entertainment at the University of East Anglia for over three decades.
The LCR or Lower Common Room is home to weekly campus discos, as well as hundreds of music gigs every year. The students’ union also run The Waterfront venue, off campus in Norwich’s King Street. Acts to have performed at these venues include Coldplay, U2, Lily Allen, Dizzee Rascal, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Iron Maiden.
